Brett Naftzger
He has been involved in non-profit direct service and fundraising for the past 15 years. Brett has extensive experience writing grants for non-profit organizations such as the YMCA, a small theater company, youth-serving organizations, an after-school program and a large University. In addition, he has conducted sustainability research activities for a symphony orchestra, a national non-profit organization and a minority-based advocacy society. Brett has also worked on several funding initiatives for the Chicago Public Schools, the Paso Del Norte Health Foundation, the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation and the Getty Grant Department. Furthermore, he has reviewed proposals for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Department of Education and the National Science Foundation. Brett regularly conducts grant writing workshops for a variety of groups including university professors, non-profit executives and camp directors.
Brett has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Purdue University and Master’s degree in Public Administration from Baruch College in New York City where he was a National Urban Fellow. He currently lives in Los Angeles, CA and works with clients across the country.

Martha Ellison
has over eleven years of experience in writing successful grant applications to federal, state and local agencies and foundations, with more than $85 million secured for community programs. She has provided comprehensive organizational and grant development services to nonprofits and government agencies across the United States.
As a community planner, Ms. Ellison has developed education and fitness, workforce and job training, small business assistance, transportation and health access programs. She serves as a federal grant panel chair and reviewer for the US Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Community Services, Administration for Children and Families, and Family and Youth Services Bureau. She also serves as a federal grant reviewer for the US Department of Education’s Office of Post Secondary Education and Safe and Drug Free Schools. She has also served as a federal grant reviewer for the US Department of Commerce, Corporation of National and Community Service, and the Beaumont Foundation. In addition to offering comprehensive organizational development and grant development services, Ms. Ellison frequently provides private and group seminars on all aspects of grant writing.
Ms. Ellison has earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia and a Master of Science in Economics, Ph.D. candidate, from TexasA&MUniversity. She has also been awarded a graduate certificate in Heritage Preservation from Georgia State University.

Karen Morgan
Karen Morgan, a marketing major, began her career in market research at Nielsen Entertainment successfully leading advertising campaigns for motion pictures and television production companies. While at Nielsen Entertainment, Karen led focus groups, managed researching teams, and assisted in the implementation and development of several projects and programs. Karen left Nielsen Entertainment to fulfill her entrepreneurial ambitions and pursue an exciting career in grant proposal writing and research.
Karen began hosting grant writing workshops from Los Angeles to New York City , networking and partnering foundations together. Karen coupled her marketing background with grant proposal writing to assist foundations attain funding. Karen has helped organizations from arts to after school programs find grants for programs. She is an experienced grant researcher, consultant, and fundraiser. Currently Karen is serving as Program Director for Second Chance, a job preparation and development program for at risk populations in Los Angeles, California .

Shelia Anthony
Shelia Anthony is an experienced federal and state grants evaluator. In addition to her degrees in Education, Shelia has over 10 years of collegiate teaching experience. Within the past 9 years alone, Shelia has evaluated twenty-seven federal, twenty state, and numerous private grants totaling over $31 million dollars in grant funding.Additionally, in the past two years, Shelia has completed over 200 hours of training in Washington, D.C.; Baltimore; Pittsburgh; New York; Chicago and Atlanta. She received certificates of completion for intensive evaluation trainings by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Lastly, Shelia has presented at numerous state and federal conferences, including keynote speaker for the Department of Health and Human Services.

Jeffrey M. Glebocki
Jeff Glebocki is nationally recognized for over two decades of service to the philanthropic and nonprofit communities. His work as an accomplished grantmaker and executive is based in extensive experience advocating for equity in disadvantaged communities through strategic program development, effective grantmaking, and the enhancement of organizational and human capacities.
He has just completed a six-month sabbatical working with The Centerpoint Institute's theory of change in exploring professional and personal growth. At this time, in a consultant role, he is assisting the Center on Education Policy in Washington, DC in developing grantmaking strategy recommendations for the newly-established Ellis Center for Educational Excellence in Arizona. And, he is facilitating the discussions of a group of Arizona youth development activists exploring the potential of creating a state-wide intermediary organization to improve youth services.
As part of his decades of service, Jeff has held numerous positions including Program Officer at The Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust in Scottsdale, Arizona, the Education Policy Work Group of the Arizona Statewide Youth Development Task Force, the Executive Committee of the Maricopa Council on Youth Sports and Physical Activity, and the program committee of the Arizona Community Foundation's Tapestry Fund. Prior to joining the Piper Trust, Jeff was Senior Program Officer at The George Gund Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio where he oversaw the education grants docket. There, he managed an annual grantmaking portfolio of up to $5 million in primary, secondary and higher education; national school improvement policy; and special programs. He was also appointed to the Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management.
In addition, Jeff has served on the board of Grantmakers for Education, the national affinity group for education funders; was a founding board member of Philanthropy for Active Civic Engagement (PACE), a new national affinity group; and was a board member of the Donors Forum of Ohio. Jeff has been the Executive Director of two community-based neighborhood economic development organizations, and has served as a consultant to nonprofit organizations and foundations.
